Our Class allows students to collect data about themselves and add it to their class’s database. Users create a face to represent themselves in the program and then gather 10 pieces of personal data and view these as pictures on their own data file. Information is viewed as tally charts, pictograms, pie charts or bar charts and interpreted to answer simple questions at two levels of difficulty. The teacher can monitor students’ attendance, moods and the status of their personal data file as well as allowing the class to create fun fancy-dress scenes. This tool meets key criteria for maths and ICT and supports PSHE in the classroom.
